Autism Film Club, the brainchild of Ambitious about Autism, will screen four international films on the subject of autism on its website during April. The films were selected following consultation with the members of the charity’s online discussion forum and each film will be free to watch online for 24 hours for those registered to join the Club.

The films being screened are The Autism Puzzle (4 April), Neurotypical (11 April), Animating Autism (18 April) and Loving Lamposts (25 April). The charity’s Head of Communications, Mark Frodsham, said that “The films chosen by our online community are all really strong and will help viewers better understand a condition that affects 1 in 100 children in the UK.”

Following each screening, the director of the film will take part in an online question and answer session about issues raised by the film.
