Professionals who work with those with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) can now access a new online community which aims to connect autism workers across different disciplines.

Established by The National Autistic Society (NAS), Network Autism aims to provide a UK forum where autism professionals can engage and communicate directly and access information.

“There are countless professionals up and down the country who dedicate each day to delivering outstanding services and progress for people with autism”, says Carol Povey of the NAS. “Many of them do so without a close network of support – often they are the only expert in a team, organisation or geographical area.” The charity hopes that the Network will enable these individuals to share good practice and find solutions to the problems they encounter in their working lives.

Network Autism is free to join and is open to all professionals who work in an autism-related field:
