Doncaster School for the Deaf has received a “good” report for its children’s home in a recent Ofsted inspection.

The report points to the home’s quality of care and the prime location of the Dickson House residential site. It praises staff for maintaining strong, positive relationships with young people and for providing excellent individual support.

Dickson House is a registered children’s home which can accommodate four children with sensory impairment between the age of five and 17. It is situated on the same campus as the school, Doncaster College for the Deaf, and the Little Learners Day Nursery.
