Soli Lazarus runs the Yellow Sun Consultancy that provides help to families and schools with primary age children with ADHD. She is a former SENCO and teacher , with 30 years experience and also has an adult family member with ADHD.
In this short book, she uses examples of boys and girls with ADHD and explains how their behaviour might be misinterpreted by parents and teachers.
She explains that children with ADHD often have other learning differences such as Dyslexia, but she focuses on strengths that they may have. She also includes some useful checklists and resources for further study.
This practical book would be helpful to parents needing basic advice and support about ADHD and it could also be very useful to practitioners in understanding this learning difference.
