  MP praises Homefield
College’s latest enterprise
Homefield College established Breward’s Coffee Shop in 2020 to prepare students for the world of work. Building transferable skills, students learn about customer service, food preparation, event catering and money handling.
Jane Hunt MP praised the enterprise
after enjoying a homemade flapjack
and fruit tea: “Breward’s is warm
and friendly and they serve fantastic
cakes! As well as being a great place for a drink and something to eat, it provides students with learning and communication disabilities with vital work experience, allowing students to grow their skills and confidence, preparing them for future employment.”
