A new online tool enabling parents and professionals to track and celebrate the progress of young children with disabilities and SEN in play has been launched by charity Scope. The tool, Celebrate Every Step, provides access to more than 100 play and learning activities and can track abilities in areas such as listening, posture and head control, thus facilitating a clear understanding of how children are progressing in terms of meeting specific developmental goals.
It has been introduced primarily for use with children under the age of seven years, but may also be useful for older children, including those with complex support needs.
