Birmingham’s Education Show is set to host the National PTA-UK Conference in 2013. An established, sector-wide training and resources event, the Education Show will welcome delegates for the first UK meeting of the charity which represents more than 13,750 parent teacher associations (PTAs) across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Topics for discussion at the conference are expected to include how to run a PTA, practical guidance on applying for grants, and advice on how to use social media to effectively reach supporters and local communities.
Formerly known as the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations (NCPTA), the charity rebranded as PTA-UK in October 2011.
