    For subscribers to the SEN magazine, email newsletters, and for signed-up readers of our website: we store your name, email address, phone number and postal address (whichever of these you have provided to us) as necessary for the purpose of communicating editorial content and SEN-related information which you have requested, or in which you have expressed an interest. We may also store information about your particular SEN fields of interest (if you have told us about these) in order to provide you with more fine-tuned editorial content and information.

    For editorial contributors: we store your name, email address, phone number and postal address (whichever of these you have provided to us) as necessary for the purpose of communicating with you as an editorial contributor and as a reader (see above). We may also store information about your professional status and your work (if you have told us about these).

    For current advertisers and previous advertisers and sponsors: we store contact and commercial information about you including your name, email address, phone number and postal address (if you have provided these to us), your advertising and accounting history as necessary for the purpose of communicating with you for managing your advertisement, for publishing, and for accounting and credit control.

    For current, previous and potential advertisers and sponsors: we store your personal data as necessary for keeping you informed about advertising opportunities, and as a reader (see above).

    GDPR: the lawful basis for this data processing is legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is in sourcing advertising and sponsorship revenue and providing the editorial content and information to our readership. Where we retain your personal data for tax and company reporting, the lawful basis is our legal obligation.

    4. General

    Sensitive personal data. We do not store any sensitive personal data about you such as medical information, financial details (eg credit card information), or your political or religious affiliations.

    Third parties. We will not pass your data to any third party other than as necessary for the fulfilment of the legitimate interest purposes mentioned above.

    Unsubscribing or data removal. If you would like us to remove your information from our records, or if you no longer want to receive our editorial content or information, please send an email to unsubscribe@senmagazine.co.uk, providing enough information for us to identify you. Our emailed content always includes a customised unsubscribe link for your convenience.
