The shortlist for the YoungMinds Book Award 2010 has been announced. The award is given each year to a book for readers aged twelve plus which helps young people to cope with the challenges of growing up.
Six books have been chosen from the longlist of twelve by young people from book groups and schools across the country. The shortlisted books this year are: Dear Dylan by Siobhan Curham, Ember Fury, by Cathy Brett, Inside by J.A. Jarman, The Truth About Leo by David Yelland, Them and US by Bali Rai and Zelah Green, Queen of Clean by Vanessa Curtis.
