Ann Chivers has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD).

Previously BILD’s Delivery Services Manager, Ms Chivers has a background in management consultancy supporting organisations to develop strategic partnerships and implementing change management programmes. She has also worked extensively with colleges and in the learning and skills sector.

“I am looking forward to building strong partnerships with other organisations who share BILD’s passion and vision”, says Ann Chivers. “We’re currently looking at all our projects and services to make sure they contribute to helping organisations and workers provide the right support, so making a lasting difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities and their families.”

Keith Smith, BILD’s outgoing Chief Executive, will continue to work on project development for the organisation.
